Restoration

Restoration of damaged oil and acrylic paintings includes:

Patching torn canvases, completely Relining the canvas if the damage is extensive or the canvas is extremely weak.
Cleaning soiled or darkened varnish revealing the true colors and detail.
Filling damaged areas with picture putty and inpainting to match the original.
Varnishing with a non yellowing varnish for protection.

Frame restoration includes:

Rebuilding weak corners.
Filling gouges and any damage with wood filler.
Stabilizing cracking composition decoration, recasting missing sections, refinishing
casted and damaged area to the original finish.
Completely refinishing to the desired finish utilizing gilt creams, leafing with 22K gold or white gold leaf if needed, antiquing with washes if desired.
